links in sigs??

how come we can't link to stuff in our sig anymore? i'm assuming it's just a temp thing associated with the server change. am i correct?

i copied the box over from the "edit sig" menu in control panel. and there's no button in the edit window to insert a link.

even for links? i had a link to my project thread in my sig last week and it mysteriously disappeared. i know i need to be an fs for images and quotes, but links? hmm.. i guess now's as good a time as any to sign up for fs status. i've been meaning to get around to it..
