Yes, I know there's been a few euro cruises through these mountains. Just wondering what have people thought of it. I live roughly 15 mins away from the location and I was thinking of getting some nice pics of the Corrado out there. Was there anything out there?

Well a caravan into Palm Springs/Desert isn't much of a bad idea.. except for numerous VR6s overheating...

How about a twilight drive? Or early morning?

i'd be down for a sunrise cruise. the coolest time of day, plus it'd be a great appetizer for breakfast somewhere.

yep but sunrise is so early

true. i'm no early bird, but i just think that if the heat is gonna keep rising then early in the morning is the best way to beat it. maybe not sunrise, but like 7ish.

I wouldn't do a midnight cruise on ANY of the three roads I mentioned... The first one, when we drove it a few times, and only about 15-20 miles of it, it was around midnight...

It's SCARY AS FK!... It's nothing to mess w/ AT ALL... There's points where there are no guard rails at all and it's like a 100 foot drop, farther out it gets to about 250-300 feet and deeper.

Those are dead areas.. no street lights, no service.. nothing.

hey if you guys wanna help out maybe we could have a big get together around there in the morning and then around 2ish we can have a drive then maybe hit up hooters or sumtin in moval. If people would show theres a park right by my house with a decent size parking lot or theres the grove parking lot. Meet at like 10 or 11, people can bring breakfast and eat at the park then do that first route, then maybe lunch/dinner afterwards.

There's a Hooters in Temecula just so ya know, which is probably closer than Moval...

Im all for this if people will help me set it up. like a socaleuro weekend event or sumtin.

This sounds like an awsome idea for a cruise. This definately needs to be set up.

Yeah, we could go around it a few times... Once for feel and check for hazards, and than another run just for funzies, no speeding and no passing.... Passing would only be okay if the euro in-front of you is pulling onto the shoulder...

People going through the area, give them room, and do not pass them...

Other than that... It would be pretty sweet to do and all. However.. i'm booked for work for 2 more months till I can get seniority and take a day or two off...
