guess not! either way its comming out of the car 2nite, i aleady got my new radio cage to put my pioneer avic z1 back in!
only thing is im gonna miss this thing cuz unlike the Z1 with the build in hdd this one never freezes at start up!!! just turn on the car and go!...the z1 has a bigger screen and a built in hdd but its very! tempermental!

with this nav you have to put in a disc to search for locations right?

yea its got 2 dvd's (west//east). but u only have to have it in their when searching for a specific address. which is why i doint like the d3 cuz then u gotta take out the dvd's to play a music cd or a movie...but with the ipod adapter it works perfect cuz then u can leave the map dvd in their and play music off yur ipod

well its either this or changing up the front bumper and side skirts if i keep it. does this work with the monsoon 6 cd changer?

as for the 6cd changer it will but u gotta splice the wires...but it comes with the ipod adapter so if u have an ipod u can have all your music their and control it from the stereo....

how hard is it to install/uninstall. becuase im thinking i might just buy it then uninstall it if i sell the car still. becuase im in a dark place with my dub right now and need something to change it up

well it took me all but 5min to uninstall...but i know pioneer avic units like the back of my hand...if u want u can come over and ill show u how to install it.to be honest the only wires u gotta worry about is tapping into the vss(which is easily accessible behind the cluster) and the ILL wire which u can get from behind your AC controls or the light switch.
