That seems fair for the mileage, Get it checked out by a VW dealer or independent and go from there, it may need $2K in work, it may not. If it checks out well, offer them $18K and haggle from there.

I have been to that place and it seems a lil sketchy. No one helped me. They have some cool cars, but most of them either have high miles or stuff wrong with them.

i'd push $18k, NEVER pay listed price. always say you have another place holding one for you at a lower price. some will throw in tax/title/reg into the price for you too.

your 337 is really nice. i like it. have you considered a wrx or sti? i dont know your price range. but still, i think an r32 is a great choice, you just gotta keep looking. lots of patience is needed when looking to purchase a car, so don't settle for less, make sure you're really satisfied. often people see the first thing they get which can turn out to be a mistake. also, once you have money in hand, you learn you have a lot of power. i've had some good luck on craigslist (search sd, ie, oc, la). good luck man.

evo insurance is out of whack. its a lot more than wrx/sti i believe. make sure you check insurance on em. i don't know what it is for an r32.
