Hey all,
I previously posted that I have a downpipe-back exhaust on order from APR. It has been two weeks, and my account has not been charged nor have I gotten anything back from APR other than the initial, automatic response e-mail. I can't call them because I don't have phone service where I am. Should I stick with them and call them the first chance that I get, or should I cancel the order and go with another company? That said if I go with another company, who should I go with. I have looked at Milltek, GReddy, and AWE. They all sound like good options, does anyone have any experience with any of them?

I've seen a handful of reports of APR exhausts cracking on various Audi forums. I don't have any first hand experience with this but I've seen it come up enough times that it probably deserves some extra research on your part to see if APR has corrected these issues. Milltek makes a quality piece that is known for being pretty quiet. The civil exhaust note is accomplished by using a baffled muffler which some (read Brett Labree) say restricts flow and compromises performance. AWE/Thermal are very similar and are both very nice units ... some might say these are too loud, others think they're just right. AWE has a sound clip on their site, so you can decide for yourself. I just finished a full custom exhaust for my car that came out real nice. If you'd like to see some pics, pm me your email and I'll send some over.
