wow, good luck....
what other mods do you have? cause that BOV might not last very long.

that bov actually is pretty good...may not be idle for our engines...but still nice...im actually running a forge 004 valve on my setup and my engine has responded better to that than the traditional DV valve...good luck

but your're also big turbo. which i think is a key factor.
i heard that BOVs on our ko3s could possibly do more harm then good.

true...depending on your setup as well...especially ecu...for example REVO using the right BOV setup wont through a CEL...mine hasnt...
ultimately...BOV is more show than go on a stock setup..:D

there are kits for bovs like the HKS that claim to not cause problems...the greddy valves though are a bit different and require some more custom work to plug everything...when i was running stock the Forge 007 valve worked wonders, and the different springs were great for adjusting the strength of the valve...and the sound it used to make was pure sex hahaha now...well she sounds different hehe

not to thread jack but...
i know the HKS is a psiton setup...is the greddy a diaphram?

only if u dont run that BOV its gonna make u run really really rich when combined with the diode mod
and like i said the diode mod is a waste of time if ur jus gonna get chipped within the month anyway

i was running very rich...you could smell it from a distance and the backfire was annoying...with my new injectors though its better

well if all you guys would click on the link i posted up and read what the guy said you would know what i want to do will not make me throw a code or anything, except the n249 valve being useless.
besides,
when people run bov's on their rides they unplug the MAF because thats what throws the code.
i've had mine unplugged for about a week and a half now.
i had my bov on but i took it off until i do my entire setup.
right now, my dv is back in along with the maf being DISCONNECTED.
its awesome.
runs WAY BETTER.
and doesnt throw a code =]
justin i dont know if i am going chipped for sure so i want to do this.
i can always chip it in a few months.

i would think the only way ur car would run better with the maf unplugged is if the maf is bad in the first place cuz with it unpluged ur ecu is jus running base line settings so nothing is damaged
also with it unplugged doesnt that turn off ur traction control
anyway bottom line your gonna run rich which means ur gonna kill ur cat eventually as for the n249 i pulled mune and soldered in a resistor and i dont get a code for that if u wanna run a BOV y not run a splitter which will recirculate half the air and release the other half

a couple months ago i told my dealership about a problem with my maf and how it turned off the traction contol and threw a code. ever since they fixed it, i can run with it plugged, unplugged, wont change a thing, but i can tell w/o it, it runs better, and the maf is fine. when the maf is unplugged, the ecu just runs off the map sensor.
fyi i dont have a cat =D
i dont throw a code for that either because i just unplugged the rear o2 sensor.
i had my bov recirculating for a bit but it acually runs better when it vents it off.
holds boost longer too.
wish i had some logs to prove it.

we'll have to go to genesis and have them run some logs then cuz i think ur butt dyno needs to be recalibrated

yeah we should just straight up have them diagnose it and tune the engine.
