engine shakes/fluctuates while @ max boost

so today before during and after the nostalgia meet my car was running like a dream,
then later during the night around 9,
when i hit max boost (20-22 psi),
my car would start shaking and all this wierd stuff.
sounded and felt like the turbo would explode or the engine would explode.
the boost gauge would fluctuate when this happened;
18-22 psi really fast.
it was scaring me.
when i didnt hit full boost,
it was fine.
but as soon as i hit the 20 psi marker, the shaking started again.

any idea why this would be happening?

possible a coil pack kinda sounds like what mine was doing a couple weeks ago

might be turbo surge also

could i lower the boost to say, 15-18 and it wouldnt do that?

how could i fix either?

no wait dude im not surging cause its not fluttering, and it wont go past where its supposed to for the boost.

u mean it wont get back to 20 psi?

no it will hold whatever boost i want as long as i have my foot down,
but when i do have it at full boost my engine shakes violently; its scary.

haha not tonight,
but tomorrow maybe.
i want to get it checked out cause tonight some chick in a civic was messing with me and i just wanted to BLOW her away.
but whenever i max boosted, engine shaked like mad and i backed off.
i'll be at manic monday late so when you drop by you can check it out,
thats if its still happening.
my car is wierd like that.

u can always take it to genesis autosport 2maro and get it checked out considering they can give u professional diagnostic
