I am taking my car in to Capo VW to have one last Oil Change and inspection before the warranty is up. Is there anything I should have them check specifically or replace under warranty. I have 47850 miles on it and it runs SO well.
Anybody?
Oh.. and what mods aside from a chip will void a VW warranty?

If you're lowered they may refuse coverage on the suspension, like the problem Edris had...

If it was my car I'd have all the bushings and joints checked out... and vac lines etc...
all the small shit ...dealers are pretty good at finding broken stuff though...

take to to an independent VW shop FIRST, pay them $100 to make a list of stuff, then go to the dealer and complain. Generally you don't want to cut it that close, but VW can "goodwill" warranty repairs for a short time after the warranty expires

Thanks! Anyone here a VW tech that wants to make some side cash and/or Pizza and beer to look over the car before I bring it in?

In 2003, the B2B warranty was 4 years or 50k miles. The powertrain warranty was 5 years or 60k miles. Neither factory warranty expired at 48k miles.

What mods are you considering?

That title should have read 2150 miles left. Anyways, waiting for my rental right now. :)
