iphone 3g

So I'm supper happy the new, faster phone is coming out! but I'll hold on to my old one for now........ After watching the keynote, talking with friends and reading internet reports, at&t is going to charge more for the 3g plan, and they still didn't fix the things i want fixed --- sending and receiving MMS's and cut n' paste ! :mad:

sure the new one has improved sound, battery life and GPS. But i'm not ready to give up my old first gen yet.


Any other SCE iphone or apple freaks here have any input?

The Sprint Only Samsung Instinct is coming soon. Its 3G, and supposed to give the new iPhone a run for its money. I read an article on CNet yesterday comparing the 2. They are basically the same except the Instinct doesnt have Wireless internet like the iPhone... which kills me. I have Sprint and have been waiting for this phone for 8 months. If it sucks, then ill probably get an iPhone 3g.

$199 is cheap enough that I'll probably grab it. I don't know what to do with the iPhone I just bought in November though?

Well since AT&T are charging $10 extra a month for 3G service or $240 over the life of the contract you are actually paying more for an iphone over two years. However it is a better for sure and I would snap one up if they had it on verizon.

they charged iphone v1 users $20 a month for data because it was non-3g. All other ATT subscribers with 3g-enabled phones pay $30 for data. Although it seems like $10 more, it's actually the same as all other customers pay.

I think i'll keep my current iphone. besides all i use the internet for is google maps and its plenty fast for that.

email photo attachements would be nice but we'll see...
