Installed boost gauge, have a few questions now

Hey guys, after a couple hours of work, a buddy of mine and I got my AWE Boost gauge installed. I have a couple questions about my boost levels that I hope someone can answer. From a rolling stop, I will boost any where between 18-20 going up to first gear. Staying on the pedal, I will continue to boost around 15 psi as I climb up the gears. To me this seems a little inconsistent and low. Running APR stage 1, car specs are in siggy. Any ideas? Thanks.

Apr is known for their low boost. 15ish psi spike and 10-11 at redline is about normal.

at least on an MKIV, don't know about the 2.0t.
