I spoke to Aaron from Abbott Automotive today. He said he's willing to come down if I can get a group together. I'm aiming for 5, but lets see how many we can get. I got quoted 388.00 for my R32 and was told that the software will learn to adapt to Intake/Exhaust mods even after the upload.

no, thats what the normal cost for my R32. Compared to the others, GIAC and REVOTechnik, that is very competitive.

I left Aaron a message on his cell phone, asking about a group buy pricing. Once I know, I'll post. I'd pay the normal price just to save a trip up to Milipitas, CA.

and yea it does take about 15-20miles of driving for teh chip to adapt to an intake/exhaust cuz as soon as i got chipped it was awesome...then on the way to the dyno it was AWESOMER! (cough...g35's non turbo'd are a JOKE!) THEN i dumped a 2:1 ratio of 91oct: 100oct and it was MAGNIFICANT!

for all vr6's it'll be 350$, i think 2.0t's are 500$ (dont quote me i gottask brandon again) and 1.8t's were 425(i think...ill confirm this for u guys)

pretty much it'll be the cost minus labor and taxes, so all you'll be paying for is the chip itself nothing more

with that said, i do see that the boosted cars have the better results. much better results than the VR6. higher boost, air/fuel controlled by the ECU, more power under the curve.. all without having to install an external controller

I havce a 05 GLI tip... so the mods i do have to be made wisely or eles im not going to get any power.. since i am a auto... Unitronic is pretty much set and forget for less then your pay for just one program iwth the others...its dosent have several progrms like GIAC and APR where you can go back and forth between programs.

you only get one program, but its a strong one

Uni makes the same if not more agressive power then its rivals.

there famous for there BT programs so ill bet there progaming is top notch
