where are all the passat's at?

not sure if i posted this in the right thread but i was woundering where all the passats at around socal. i was think to get a meet together that all passats can go to since it seems like alot of meets dont really have passat's. well post up what kinda of passat you have and where your at.

i'll start first i have a b5 98 passat 1.8t 5speed, neuspeed coils, 2.5" brullen exhaust, cat delete test pipe, k&n open filter or panel filter which ever i want to put on lol, tint, dynomat in the trunk, and nice thump lol

i love my b5 its an awsome car and i have so many plans for it. im hoping there would be enough passats that would want to do this. what year are you looking for gtiador?

98 to early 01 with a 1.8t. i don't like the B5.5's as much as the B5's. i don't like how the later style grill interrupts the front rubstrip. it would ruin the look i'd be going for.

the details on mine are on the first post the body work is stock with a crappy paint job because th p/o got into a accident on the front bumper and fender so im going to be doing a widebody kit with staggered wheels. im still looking for the right kit that fits my style

oops haha. right after i posted i scrolled up.. sounds like a plan. if i ever get my hands on a b5, it'll be reflex silver on kw v2's and dpe's with a k04, fmic, textured rubstrips all around and matching mirror caps, black roof, dark dark red tails... i could go on for days

lol yeah i could go on for days also. i will be ptting a fmic onthiswinter when i do my chip and bigger injectors and possibly the ko4 but im not looking for major power in it just style and comfort. plus its my family car for now lol

for sure. i wouldn't want to add too much either what with the sludge problems i've heard so much about.

actually the sludge only happens f you dont change the oil on time and use the recommended oil

New staggered 18s on it now with a lower drop on B+G springs.

Rear lip is an Oettinger. I got mine for dirt cheap from a fellow B5er who was selling his car. I believe CEC is an Oettinger dealer although I'm sure there are more places that can get it.

It'd be sick to get all the SCE Passats together at a gtg sometime. The BigSCEgtg is probably going to be the best opportunity...

just because its a passat doesnt mean its going to break all the time. i hear alot about the newer 1.8t's having problems exspecially the coil packs. all older cars have there problems not every car is perfect. but hey what the hell its fun to work on them lol and get people looking cause its not your typical car to mod lol
