does anyone know where i could get a roll cage and or trunk cage from?
Trunk cage????? Never heard that one.................... A proper cage will cost you thousands at fabrication shop. A bolt in cage, or one made out of muffler tubing can do more harm then good. Unless you are a major safety nut, or plan on tracking the car, for street use you don't need one in todays cars.

check out autopower. they sell weld-in kits for cheaper than custom. i thought about a cage and decided against it, but if you do it, use the correct kind of padding and use racing harnesses in your car. a cage by itself would likely be more dangerous than not having one.

I don't recommend one for the street though...at least not this one. If the car does roll...and you are not wearing a helmet or harness...your head will split like a watermelon.

Thats an autopower cage, they are a heavy boat anchor, not for a street car, for a weekend track car for added safety when used with a helmet and a harness, like you said, in an accident it will smash your head open, or worse. A proper cage requires gutting the car and a fab shop. A strong cage will tear the floor or the tubing before the weld gives. I use to build GT3 cup cars before I went back to BMW so I have some clue as to what I'm talking about.

Aren't real roll cages supposed to the a horizontal bar behind the front seats to attach the harness?
Yeah, thats the bar the harness attaches to so you don't get fucked up in an accident.

I dont think safety is the real goal here so just get some PVC from Homo Depot and make yourself a cheap cage. Paint it silver when your done and nobody is wiser and you will look sew kewl with money left in your pocket....! ;)
