So i got my Koni coilovers installed last week and i gotta say the ride and stance is exactly what i was looking for. I had to take the 20mm spacers out bc the rears rubbed really bad with the coils all the way down..So the 20mm spacers came out and the rear coils got most of the perches taken out..Front is pretty much all the way down with a few threads left..

Next on the mod lIst is..

Jti front end( i know my front bumper needs major work!!)
Paint White or flat black..
Still on the hunt for decently priced RCs (and paint them Bronze FTW)

So with my new coils and a fresh wash i felt it neccesary to take the 337 out for a lil photoshoot.. Hope you guys enjoy..

Looks good.

Do you have rubbing issues up front? I hear a clinking noise from the passenger side when I make a left turn sometimes, not for the right though. And my ride height looks similar to yours.

Nope. I have rolled front fenders though..

I heard that my car will make a clunking sound going over bumps and what not, if i take the perches all the way out. As of rite now most of the perches are out.. Just the very bottom peice is in..Your car looks very nice though..

Any ideas what the clunking's about? And could rolling your fenders be a solution?

Hows the ride compared to when the perches where in? And hows your dampening settings on the front? soft or hard?

Spacers wil make you stance look even better!

The toe could be off which would still eat your tires.

I kno!!!... Sucks, i really like my car with 20mm spacers.. They are just laying around collecting dust now..Rez suggested to go the stretched tire road.. But i gotta get smaller tires first..

I don't know about VW's, but on my car (lowered on GC coils) the sway bar interferes with the lower control arm making a clunking sound when I turn the wheel. It could be a similar case with your car, when lowering a car that much you change the geometry and there is a chance that parts will interfere. Usually, adjustable sway bar links, or some type of spacer on a control arm will solve the problem.

Fender rolling is a good idea anyways, but rolling the fenders will only help rubbing issues with tires, not clunking. Also rolling your fenders will allow you to run spacers and get the more kicked out aggressive stance without rubbing issues. You'll be sorry when you take a corner, hit a bump with the inside wheel and pull your fender because you didn't get them rolled.
