Ok, so its come time to sell the rabbit. it was a good daily driver for me, and would make a great track/project car, but i just dont have the time or money to put into it at the moment and the wifey is getting on me about the space its taking up. Ok, so heres the rundown:

the good:
1979 german body rabbit (originally a diesel)
85 8v gti motor with header and deleted cat
87 cab master cylinder, wiring harness/cluster/dash/door panels
87 cab mag wheels with falken tires (approx 1000 miles)
wheel stud kit
4 wheel disks
90 corrado red dot seats
golf ball shifter
gti 4 light round headlight grill setup
black plastic wheel arches
black plastic euro front lip

the bad:
missing side engine mount bolt
needs clutch (not drivable, but runs)
small amount of rust on roof
cracked windshield

This would make a perfect project car, or with a little love a good daily driver again. some pluses of note are the fact that its a German body, and since it was a diesel originally, it will never need to be smogged (you could put any engine you want in)

PM me with an offer if you're interested. I've put a lot of time and sweat and blood into this car, but I really need the space. Almost anything will be considered, but please don't be insulting.

Thanks,
Steve (formerly WSR02 (yellow corrado))

is that stock suspension? when the clucth was good, how well did the car run?it ran/runs just fine (i started her up this morning) and would run perfectly if you hooked up the vacuum advance (which i never got around to) and got the fueling dialed in. it is not stock suspension, not sure who makes the dampeners but they're not oem and it has probably a 1" drop (not sure about the springs either). it handles pretty well, but if you got a good setup dialed in it would definitely help since the car is so light.

it would take i believe a sachs KF78502, which fits most early 80's 8v motor/trannys

starting the car up this morning got me nostalgic, this is a really fun car! the headers and straight exhaust sounds good! (i once ran straight headers for a week or so and the sh*t sounded like a friggin race car) so take this thing away before i change my mind!!

oh and i keep forgetting to mention i have some extra parts for this thing too (mostly random trim pieces, extra intake tube, a whole extra fueling system, fuel filter, belt etc)
