weezer's back!!

i finally got the new weezer cd (the red album) and it's awesome. i love that they've gotten back to their roots. this is what maladroit and make believe should have been - an extension of blue album attitude and ingenuity.

anyone else into weezer?

They should have stopped a while ago. Everything they are doing lately is disappointing. If you guys say it's so good, I might just have to give it a listen/chance. :)

I've always been a Weezer fan................... I was planning on picking up the album soon, to me, there music has always been good.

As far as a "Weezer" album.. it is in no way good. Make Believe was trash. As far as being a rock album.. its good. Rick Rubin needs to stop producing thier records so they can get back to sounding good.

pinkerton is my favorite album as well.. i havent heard this new one .. ill have to check it out might as well

red album beats the hell out of make believe by far. while it may not have the original weezer soul of pinkerton and blue album, it's definitely a big step towards what they should be and once were.
