how hard is it to install a neuspeed shortshifter 6sp? anyway my car is a 2004 A4. TIA. waiting for brown man to deliver it tomorrow. :)

if it's anything like the 5spd then it's not that hard. Just make sure you don't mark the retaining locks. There are bolts with metal washer looking things that bind the shift rod to the shift linkage. Mark where they bind on to shift rods and linkage. I made the mistake and marked the washer. Lost my reference point and had to readjust the linkage. Didn't take long, but it wasn't too fun either. Other than that it's pretty straight forward and the directions are well written. My car is a 5 speed though, I don't imagine it to be too much different. Hope this helps.

should be identical to the 5 spd install

should probably take an hour to do it

i would recommend the AMS ss, but i dont think they make a 6 spd yet. So i think either the Stratmosphere or the Neuspeed SS is the way to go

Just have the recommended tools ready and some patience -- do not rush it. It would help if you have adequete lighting too. If you have to work on it outside, do not wait until 5 in the afternoon to start.

having a magnetic screw driver for the torx is recommended ;)
