i haz mono

well i been sick for quite a while... first the Doc thought it was bronchitis

but last week i had a steady fever of 102 and lost my appetite, plus haven't been able to hold down food since Saturday, so i been gettin bad bad bad headaches probably from being dehydrated.

went to the ER this morning and got IV'd up and had blood test run, word is i got mono :( normally i can tough things out but the headaches are making life a little hard right now; so yeah just wanted to let my few friends here know what's up

Man that blows. I had that mono crap way back in the day and it was a doozie! I was out of school for a month and had to be home schooled because of it. This was in like 88' or so.

Don't F around with that shit. It sounds like you're taking care of yourself, but remember that your spleen is gonna be tender for a little while, so no contact sports or anything like that. I feel for you on that headache. Is it behind your eyes? How about strep? Do you have that too? (without testing positive for it)

SCE should get tested... since i was unaware of my sickness for atleast 4 weeks, a number of females could have contracted and passed it around. sorry about that

BUT I am finally feeling allllll better! except for some minor aches (might be from the heavy bed/couch rest) and my cough ain't totally gone yet... however i got a handful of vicodin left, mmmmm!!! so i'll be going back to work tomorrow since all my vacation time is up... 3 day work week FTW!
