Won't happen.

couple years ago one of my friends took a 5 gallon water jug filled with pennies (couple silver pieces) along with 2 pillowcases 1/2 filled with pennies.

He got $363 from all that crap and the machine took it all.

Could you imagine the shock for the coinstar guys that had to come pick up that machine? LOL.

We do that ever so often- all the loose change we get, we put in a container (small).

i stopped spending $1s, just put em in a jar whenever i leave

i gotta start doing something with my change!

NFCU is the best. You just dump your coins in the thing and it goes directly into your account. No 9-15% surcharge like Coinstar. Rob and I do that every 3-4 months or so and usually get $150+. In fact, I've got a full 40oz of Mickey's that needs to go to NFCU now!

don't spend $1s regardless. rules are rules!

$384 is my record, i actually had more but i paid some kid to help me since it took me a good 30min.

I put in a handful to learn how to use the machine then came back with a bucket full of change. This was during the strike so people outside told me not to go and spend my money, "but i am here to make money" was my reply.

I got a small machine for Xmas a few years ago that sorts and puts them in the rolls for me, I get the sleeves at the bank, roll it myself then take it in, I've got around $260 in one shot, but that was for almost a year, I don't really use cash so it adds up a little slow.

I know for a fact you have a change jar and its probably still got all of my carefully sorted shiny change in it from that poker night a couple years ago with Dan and Tracy.
