I'm back from spending almost a week in Seattle.
While we were there, Susan did her conference and continuing education thing and I drank beer.
I wound up visiting 7 different breweries in about 3 days after talking to bartenders, bar patrons, and even a local homebrewing shop owner about where to find good beer in town.
Pike Brewing Company
Six Arms (McMenamins)
Elysian Brewing Company
Hale's Ales
Maritime Brewing Company
The Ram (Big Horn Brewing Company)
Big Time Brewing Company

Nice !! just got back from Scottsdale, AZ ... besides being hot, that place is booming
all the houses are big and nice, and the restaurants are plentiful ... and the business complexes are crazy big

Well, I'm out for tonights ride and any evening ride for the next 2 weeks. Found out this morning I'm on the Night shift. But Friday we're planning a strand run with everyone.

That sucks.
Wait... You know Friday is the 4th right? Isn't the strand going to be a madhouse?

as far as visiting that many breweries in one day are you sure your sense of taste was still as good as when you had started?

I did a max of 3 per day and only did taster sizes so thats a little over a pint at each place.
Every brewery I visited was really good. The Ram was one of those brewery restaurant chains so it wasn't fantastic but it was good. Hale's Ales and McMenamins were pretty good. The Elysian, Big Time, Maritime, and The Pike were all really good.
They serve a lot of really good IPAs, barley/wheat wines, and whit biers up there.
Some of the highlights were...
The IPA from the Pike and the Elysian
The american lager and the Porter from Maritime
The Old Sol wheat wine from Big Time
