roger clemens came out of retirement without even going in, so this might be a possibility. but it's not like some other team offered favre a shitload of green to come play for them. this should be interesting..

yeah, but if the Packers re-instate him (take him off the reserve), they have to pay him something like $12.5 million each of the next 2 years. They have also been practicing and adjusting the offense to not have him in there so my guess is they will try to convince him to stay retired. If he really doesn't want to, they have to pay him or release him to be able to go to other teams.
