Guess I could have posted this anywhere but since I have a '04 GTI, I guess I will post it here. I got a ticket for CVC 22450 (a) which is Failure to Stop at Stop Sign in Azusa, CA which is LA County. Does anyone know how much I am looking to pay/?

from what I seen, it may be about 169 plus traffic school so I think you are right. Traffic Assassins is a cool site but yes I was the only one on the road and it was a block away from the house. The cop could have been far worse cause I didn't have my license on me, tinted windows in the front and my son was putting his seatbelt on since we were just leaving the house. He let me go with the Stop Sign violation which was the most expensive of them all but oh well. The $169 was back in 09/07 so I am wondering if that is somewhat accurate but I do expect to pay in upwards of 250+ with Traffic School. Thanks....

Problem is that I really didn't admit anything but I didn't say that I stopped either, I will give it a try. I just do not know where the cop was when I rolled the stop but I know I didn't run it. Oh well, I will try

i had to sig it :p
If you try and fight it, you may have to forfeit your traffic school, so if you lose, you can't get it "removed" from your record, if you didn't stop, just pay it and stop next time, I hear they are as much as a red light and are close to $400 now.

Yeah my redlight ticket was around $460 after all said and done, with no traffic school.

On the bright side, since its LA county, you can cheat, I mean do your traffic school online

always ask for the option to take traffic school and it is rewarded alotof the time with a lowered fine...at least thats what happens if you do it through the mail.

yea plus if u lose u can do a trial de novo which gives u a second trial in court and u can ask for traffic school then
