Wish you the best!

I don't want to sound negative, but I highly doubt anyone will find that car in one piece...that is, if they find it.

It's a pretty hard car to steal...immobilizer II for the ignition, and the lowness of the car would make it difficult to flatbed.

Sounds like some pros did the job. Which has me worried...since vw stealing in socal is unprecedented.

I'll keep an eye out...if I see those assholes, they're gonna regret the day they were born.

Ladies and gentlemen I would like to give you the best advice ever. Save your money on the super cool alarm and get lo jack put on the car. If your buying a new vehicle just finance he cost of it right off the bat. Asshole's have gotten into my car when I was out of earshot of the alarm, but guess what, lo jack calls me and tells me the car is being moved without the transponder in it. Problem was reported early and the police could then track the car. Shit heads are now in jail. Do yourself a favor and protect your vehicle with a device worth investing in.

by brothers suburban has been broken into twice in the last 2 years

they haven't been able to steal it cuz he takes out a couple relays (if he is @ a big car show venue where the car is a sitting duck) he got real lucky in vegas last year the crooks even tried installing extra relays but still couldn't get it... pretty nuts

Two bumps for Lo-Jack.

But in order for them to call you and let you know the car is moving without you, you need an additional service provided by them

There is the basic system which is the locator. In other words, when you find your car is stolen, you call the police and let them know. Then the Lo-Jack is activated. Which means if you don't know your car is gone for 24 hours, then that is 24 hours that the crooks have had to move it undetected.

The other service (on top of the basic Lo-Jack system) is called Early Warning. They give you two transponder keyfobs. If one of those two transponders is not in the car when the Early Warning receiver detects movement, Lo-Jack will Call you, Text you, and E-mail you that your car has been moved, possibly without your permission. It is usually within 5 minutes of the car being moved.

That gives the crooks at MAXIMUM 15 minutes to get the car moved before the cops are tipped off.

I have both Lo-Jack and Early Warning. The nice thing about both systems is that once you buy the system, there is never a monthly monitoring charge. Once you pay for the equipment, the service is free.
