well i landed myself in court ordered AA!

it was supposed to be done 7/15 along with 3 self help meetings but i haven't had a chance, being sick n all so maybe if i go tonight and hit up court for an extension tomorrow, all will be ok... at least i hope ;)

You know, I had to go to some AA meetings for an alcohol-related non-traffic offense. If you think you have a problem, you should check out some AA meetings! Makes you feel a whole lot better about yourself, that's for sure!

A dude at one meeting talked about how he never felt he had a problem, he'd always show up to work on time, never drank on the job, never puked, never was hung over, etc. Had a stressful day at work, grabbed some booze on the way home, had a few drinks to relax. Went back to work the next day, was fine, more stress, more booze. Went to work the next day, fine, more stress, more booze.

He woke up Thursday morning and saw 3 empty 5ths of brandy on his countertop, and he was the only one drinking.

That's pretty hardcore!
