Looks like im going into aircraft hydraulic maintenence.
current ship date is january 6th 2009.
i cant wait to go to basic. :):):) im trying to get an earlier date:p

You'll be doing my job. Make sure you always wear gloves and goggles. Keep your fingers away from moving flight controls. Don't drink hyd. fluid. Always use a new o-ring.

Kerry is a Navy airflamer. And I concur, don't get hyd fluid on you. It soaks in before it washes off.
The AF has big planes with lots of moving parts. A hyd maintainence mech will stay pretty busy in the AF. Were you going to try for a flying job?

GL with basic. Hydro fluid is no joke, that stuff can do some serious damage to skin, it practically disolves rubber gloves like nothing. handle that stuff with caution

damn grease monkeys!!! haha GL man i've always been in a non flightline field for a reason :P but you should enjoy it.. sometimes i wish i did more with my hands like mechanic-wise but i also enjoy my regular non oncall job :)

soon! next week! i have shin splint supports and it helps em alot now its only muscle/cardio fatigue that gets me

not sure, I'm not a mech. I used to deal with airplane parts, and the skydrol is no joke.
