MkI Rabbit

I am looking for a project to start, I unfortunatley do not have much to spend on the vehicle itself so looking more for like someone who wants to dump one. Basically what im looking for is any MkI Rabbit (Hatch or Truck) in any package or fuel type (Gasoline Preffered). Exterior isnt a big deal, just no heavy rust or massive dents, paint can be faded or chipped to hell for all I care. The interior... well i'm not expenting much much from something thats gunna be about 30 years old. I would like for it to run or atleast be able to crank with a new battery so i know that it atleast can run with work. A truck rabbit would be great but a hatch is good too.

I hoping that some kind, generous person will "donate" one to me. And also whoever i acquire the car from I will constantly keep updated with the progress of the car.

I would say go to Ecology Junkyard and buy one of those. They are in pretty good condition and some are very near complete. I would sell you mine but I have so much into it that I could not get it back. New Diesel engine. :)

Just keep looking on Craigslist in your area and surrounding areas. I have seen a bunch that are around $500 that need a little work.

lol haha trying to do what i did haha its a money pit! and well all know you dont have any money to be dumping even if you get parts for cheap and go to uti its still alot to get going look at my rabbit!

yeah, i dont have too much but still @ %70 off everything i should be able to get it going with help from my class mates and teachers. one of the instructor said that its actually a very good idea to do something like this.
