1997 VR6 Volkswagon Passat GLX
130,000 miles and has a great MPG.
From the owner himself "I recently drove it back from 29 Palms and got 28.7 miles per gallon!"
He Used to drive it to work every day which is about thirty miles one way and only had to fill it up once every two weeks.
Has some minor cosmetic problems but other than that it is a great commuter.
This is my friend/neighbors car. It was his daily, but he is selling it. I will try to get some interior pics from him. He is a diesel mechanic: translation - He knows enough about cars to keep them well maintained, but knows he is not a combustion engine mech, so he gets work done by somebody who is :) He has had the car for the last year himself and said he has not had to do a timing chain on it since he had it, but is not sure when it was last changed.
Asking $4,500 OBO
