yea im back on my feet but still in pain. i only had the car for 4 day. it had really bad tires all the way around. got it for $5,700 with 66,666 miles (and im not lieing about the miles) so Nascar slick tires + Quattro + rain = crash. was heading to work early in the morning and on the way there i hit a man hole caused the car to start spinning jumped the median and stop the car in the intersection. the first car that hit me wasnt really paying attention to the road and hit me on the driver side before i could move the car out of the intersection. then it spun the car around and got hit by another car in the back. they ended up cutting the driver door of to get to me.

there wasn't any picture of me in the hospital from what i remember, but it was a great experience having a catheter.

DAMN! Glad you are alive and on the mend, this is the reason I pick safety over performance when I have the choice of a car..........

Reason why I have Dual SMICs intead of FMIC. No, no on removing the bumper support.

Hell, I love my audi. When it got in the accident, the Jetta that hit me was destroyed, but my b5 looked like a champ in comparison.

Wow, glad you are okay. The Audi helped, but frankly I think it was the medics, trauma center and ICU staff that saved your ass. Glad you are alive.

Meh, currently looking for work as an EMT or ER tech. Job market is slow right now even for an EMT. Still applying for fire jobs. No luck there yet, but never discouraged.

I did however just get a job offer from Mammoth for a Ski Patrol position starting in December. So I may head back up to Mammoth for the season again and get to play EMT on skis. Something about C-spining people on a 70 degree slop in zero visibility sounds fun.

How you been Mike? You ever sell the perfect MKIII? Man that car was nice.

Mammoth would be awesome, kind of a work/vacation/party. Ahhh, the MK3, I sold it a year ago, and kick myself in the ass every time I see a nice MKIII, I wish I still had it to be honest, but I had that, the MK5 GLI, and the MK2 with the VR swap and VF stage 2, and the 911 in one house!!!!!! I had to thin the herd so I sold the MK2 also, sold the 911, now I have a Cal Look 66 blue bug on BRM's, that may go away soon too, its fun, fast, but hardly safe, I've had the itch for a B5 S4 for awhile, or another MK3.......... I'm going to go VR this time, as quick as the ABA car was, after having been spoiled by that stage 2 from VF, I can't go backwards.......

I thought you sold it finally. I myself have the urge to return to a MK3 but I just know it is a bad idea. To much money to drop into them to make them reliable as finding the perfect one takes so long since they are gettin older. I still have my MKIV Gli. It is reliable and fun. Moving to Mammoth aain makes me want to swap it for a R32 for the awd. But I love my Gli and don't want to get rid of it.
