Care to take a shot at it?

http://hundredpushups.com/index.html

I just did my initial test. Was able to crank out thirty easily with good form. I stopped there as that category goes from 30-49 and I know I would have only had 4-8 tops left in me.

Anybody game to start the program as well and chart your progress here?

Yeah, mine was back in the ROTC days....could do 120 PU, 100 SU, and 2 miles in 11.5. I pretty much was dead afterwards though.

I do sets of pushups every few nights throughout the week. My chest feels more developed and defined cranking out pushups than bench pressing at the gym.

Body weight exercises ftw.

Does climbing out of a lowered vehicle considered a pull up? What about every time i sit up on the couch, does that count too? I dont know why you guys drive so slow, my car will do 2 miles in about 1 minute.

How funny, my son Jacob and I just started doing push ups together starting last week. I'd say he does 70% in good form and he pulls out 25-30 a set before resting compared to my 10 -15. I printed out the daily sheets so I guess my 5yr old and I are in ;)

Mr. Nobody

Do what you can. Bars or no bars. It's still a workout.

Have you ever tried push ups on your fists? Do them on a towel or folded yoga mat and they aren't nearly as hard as they are made out to be. They take the pressure off your wrists.

So funny I jsut started this this week and jsut finished the first week today. its actually great for endurance as well as form. I incorporated it into my run, swim and lift routine. I started an initial text of 35, and just finished the first week. I can see it making a difference in my form just from the repetitive nature and increments.

Can you imagine how many bar bets or stupid friends bets you could clean up on?! Oh yeah well every push up I do more than you consecutively you owe me a dollar. they do 35- you do a hundred! LOL Oh man to funny.

18 Pull Ups, 100 situps in 2 mins, and 24min 3 mile!

20 pullups, 100 crunches, 19 flat 3 mile was my best pft...i believe it was a 296
my last 6 pfts were 275 or higher

i could actually do 27 pullups, but 20 is the max.

no i can do 15 pullups, 100 crunches, and maybe 27 minute run time

You know, there are some fleet Marines still strugglin' with that... and they weren't ever in leg cast.

... ON that note, I better go get today's push ups in.
