So I can add lots of stuff to the collection from this place, I know we get shafted here in Kalifornia by liberal gun laws, but seems like every scumbag gang banger has one, why not me? Enjoy!

You can have an AR-15, but it has to look all lame and only fire single and have a fixed mag and no pistol grip and blahblahblahblah not worth the hassle.

Solution: move to Nevada. :)

yeah, it has to have a "fixed" 10 rounder, the bullet button skirts the law, PIA........

one time on a boy scout camping trip in the desert, s.w.i.m. got the chance to fire an actual ak47 that one of the dads brought out. s.w.i.m. thought it was pretty bad ass, but the wood got really really hot, so s.w.i.m. could even clear the whole banana clip without stopping.

aren't those insane .50 cal novelty sniper rifles pretty popular too? and i think they're legal in this state.

You have to dump, ALOT of rounds through it to get it that hot, there is a video on YouTube of a guy who purposefully sets the wood grips on fire. Personally I would NEVER do that to mine, the Ak is damn near indestructible, but thats just dangerous.

Last time a few of us on here went shooting in Azusa, the local gang of cholos were out at the range shooting bowling pins with one, with the illegal 30 rounders, even though it may be preban like mine, the magazine is a grey area, and if you come up on the wrong side of the law, a felony.

i think the only reason it was so hot is because i was 7th or 8th in line, and everyone else was going pretty crazy with it before me, so even a little bit of oomph heated it up pretty quick.

we had some other cool stuff out there too. shotguns were always my favorite though. there's just something about moving targets... those were the days.

08-08-2008, 06:29 PM
yeah, that many rounds will get it nice and hot..............

I saw something similar to this in Shotgun News recently. I'm so upset every time it comes in the mail because half of the goodies in there we can't have here :(

trust me their not THAT fun... well ok i lied!

Yep. Gonna have to disagree with that one.

The helmet didn't let me get my cheek to the stock, so I had to shoot more like this.

well fortunately for me - i can build an AR here in FL. Going to be ordering my lower soon and do a build. End the end it will most be a CMMG Upper and Lower. Going for a mid-length but might get a 14.5 upper with longer muzzle break. we'll see.

LOL, so I will have something to shoot when I visit????? Rest assured mine will be fully reversible to MIL spec when I leave this whacky state.....
