Post up.... What time are you going for?

considering I've had a shitty training schedule I'll be happy with a 2hr race.

Next up is the Mission Bay Tri in Oct

Good luck! And stay well hydrated. A couple friends of mine ran it last year and it was unbearably hot!

My next run, on the other hand, is the End of Summer Fire Run - Fast Flat Four Miles next Sunday (La Jolla to PB). Hell, the entrance fee comes with 2 beers!

I did it last year and I remember how hot it was... saw one girl in convulsions going up 5th to Balboa. I couldnt keep fluids or gels down either. I'm hoping for a good marine layer on sunday....

I'm running. I haven't trained for shit, but I think I can fudge a sub 2 hour. Actually, make that 2 hours. I have to help my friend move on saturday.

Well, no no sub-2 4 me.
I managed a 2:02. I think I wasted the :02 in 2 stretch-stops on the way up the hill at the end. That sucked! I'm glad it wasn't a marathon, because I got a hell of a side stitch, about 1000 feet from the end.
But I'm pretty happy with that time. I just know I can do a lot better. Silver Strand is up next. Who's in?

I tried to post the results chart, but it didn't work. But if you care, go to http://www.afchalf.com I am bib number 4094.

My gf did it in 3 hours. Not bad for her first half! I anticipate my first half (Carlsbad) to be sub-2, but who knows. I need to get back to training 6 days a week. Damn masters thesis getting in the way of my running!

All that running and you're still constipated?

Ugh, I ran 3 miles in 35 minutes on the t-mill last night. How can I be getting SLOWER?

Hmm, I've been running a bunch lately. Maybe I should come do some races with y'all.
