Same as above, I sprayed mine with plastidip, and it has not peeled, flaked, or chipped, going on 14 months now, i I went ahead and went plastidip crazy, and did my front grill as well. Looks sweet.

i have to say it looks pretty sick but i dont want to pay that much for the rings in black. does anyone know where i could get a new honeycomb grill like the one on the rs4? ive been looking for a long time but i have found nothing. any info where i could get one?

I just bought a new set of rings from the dealer and painted them myself. Just sanded them a bit and used some duplicolor paint. Worked like a charm!!

the only place that i know of that sells grills for our car is ecstuning. they just came out with some new ones you might like. Its not the R8 grill but wouldnt hurt to check it out.

ECS tuning is a waste of your time. The prices I've seen there are a bit ridiculous. Just cruise the forums looking for someone selling an RS4 grill. I just picked up a brand new one out of the box on AF for 100 bucks shipped. The deals are out there.
