ipod touch

do you guys have any good programs for the touch? or have you jailbreaked yours?

Mine is jailbroken. There are only a couple apps that I really use. One is mxtube which allows you to download youtube videos to your ipod. The other is a drawing program (I forget the name) that i primarily use to occupy my 5 year old when she's getting impatient.

I want to upgrade to firmware 2.0 for the sole reason to use Pandora, but I'm not sure how to jailbreak 2.0 even though it's been done. I also can't stomach them charging $10 for the new firmware.

Otherwise I typically just use my ipod to check email and surf the web while I'm making duty.

what program did you use to do the jailbreak and do you have a diy or link for it?

at the time I used ziphone. It was available from ziphone.com but it's not there anymore. From what I understand there is a site that you can browse to from your ipod touch and it'll just jailbreak it right there. Unfortunately I don't know the site or name of it.

If I can still find the .zip file for the ziphone app i'll let send it your way.

ok mine is jailbreaked but I heard there are excellent programs to get. what website though?

Oh I don't know. I just choose from whatever is listed in the Installer app. I know you can add sources that will have different apps available but not sure where to find them. I'd probably start reading ipodtouchhacks.com and go from there or google for "ipod touch apps"
