So, I hear the camera work can be quite nauseating.
Anyone want to render an opinion?
I'd like to know before I shell out the big bucks to see it. =)

a friend of mine said he was actually getting sick because of it ... however, this friend is prone to exaggeration, so yeah ...

Very disappointing. They need to get rid of this director, over half of the movie you are left guessing what happened in the last scene. You begin to get very annoyed through the movie. There are some worth while scenes worth the 8 bucks but overall i left very disappointed and wanting to murder the man who directed it. :)

Hmm..that's not good. I liked the first one.
Maybe I'll go see it during a matinee. =)

That's the general consensus I'm receiving as well: matinee or rental. Which is weird because it's been fairly well-received by critics.

Well, I can spare a dollar, so I'll go check it out and let you know.

i bet when "formatted to fit your screen" non-widescreen edition pan-and-scan versions will be a great way to get people to puke!

I heard that opening night at the texas chainsaw massacre remake people where throwing up in the theatre, now thats entertainment!

Actually, I enjoyed it. The camera did shake a bit much, and though there was more than, say, The Rock, it was not as nauseating to view as that film. The storyline is perfectly straightforward and easy to follow, and very well-paced.

I would say Bourne Identity had better style in filming and a better plot while Bourne Supremacy's simpler plot left room for excellent performances by all the players in the troupe. It also sported a tighter story, leaving less logistical questions than the first film (no, really, how did Bourne get from Marseilles to Zurich without a passport?).

kinda bored me, couldnt really tell what was going on in the action scenes, half the time you ended up seeing everything AROUND the action because it shook so much. the plot was so-so, and just overall disappointing.

haven't seen this one ... Saw the first though, and while it was entertaining, that was it ... I couldn't even tell you anything that happened in the movie, it was easily forgettable. I hear Paycheck was virtually the same movie, with the other dude acting.

You haven't needed a passport to travel inside Europe in years....

So you can buy a train ticket from Marseilles to Zurich without showing ID?

I don't know about that trip specifically.
But last time I was there, I took the train fairly often, purchased all my tickets from kiosks (except for once when I couldn't find the kiosk. heh), and never once showed a passport. That trip included 6 different countries, including France and Switzerland.

Went to see this the other morning.
Overall, I liked the first one better, it had a more coherent plot, and a _much_ better chase feel to it.
Supremacy felt like an "inbetween", just setting us all up for the 3rd one where Jason Bourne comes in from the cold.
That said, I think I would have enjoyed this one more had the first one not existed. It made me want to go back to Berlin for sure, I'm pretty certain I put a bag in the same lockers he did. =) And I damn well had a beer right by that S-bahn station.
The camera shaking wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It generally fit the mood of the film, but a few times a steadi-cam was definitely called for.
8 out of 10.

I really enjoyed it, and so did my wife. I thought the camera shaking technique added to some of the scenes where you were supposed to feel frantic. It kinda reminded me of some of the camera work in Traffic. I thought the chase scene in Moscow was excellent. Just like the first movie, it makes me want to go see Europe. And be a super spy. ;)

Looks like we are going to go see it on Friday night since I have a free pass for it. :p I am sure the camera shaking can't be any worse then the Blair Witch Project.
