universal Exhaust measurements

Any of you heard about the canister exhaust trick where you just buy a euro downpipe but use a universal canister???

well thas what im doing, i brought a GHL 3"downpipe, and im gonna weld a HKS universal Carbon-Ti exhaust.

Any one know what measurments im supose to use???

Thats not really a trick... just go to an exhaust shop and they can bend up the pipe and weld it in for you.

Most mufflers are universal. Its the pipe routing that is vehicle specific.

I'm not so sure. If it produces results at a lower price, why is it rice, because it doesn't come from Neuspeed, or Eurosport, or some other "euro" company? It's not like its neon under his car or a giant wing or something. :confused:
