Just wondering...
What's the market price for a 98 GTI vr6?
or... what would be a fair price for a car that has...

black/black colors
The car has 73k on it.
Mk4 lights
front and rear sway bars
k/n and AMS chip
short shift kit
abt rear spoiler and abt aluminum pedals
oettinger 17" rims
clear corners side and rear
intrax coilovers rear and koni eibach front

What would you pay if you were in the market for this particular car?

i bought mine 98 vr6 last year from a dealer with only 45k two year warrenty. so i would say for yours private seller 10k at the most.

Thanks so much for replying...
I was thinking about asking 8500-9000 for it.
The car isn't salvage, it does have a clean title.
Never crashed or wrecked.
It's a pretty clean car.
I was thinking 4-5k is what the dealer would offer me.

I also posted in the classifieds, but no one responded yet.
The side moldings fell off my car and the plastic reflector next to the fog lights.
Do you guys know where I can pick these parts up? Local pick up preferred unless you guys know a really good mail order place.

that's low....as has been already stated, about $7k seems good given the mods.

i remember looking about two years ago for a mkIII vr and prices were about $12k for the lower-milage ones, so that seems about right.
