See that's why I hate the liberal media sometimes.

They are painting a picture with a skewed brush.

I am willing to bet there are very few people here that understand WHY this father gave up his 9 children.

I'm not saying I condone what he did, But I can certainly understand it.

I heard from another news station the guys wife (and mother of these 9 children) died. When that happened, he is no longer able to support all 9 children.

Now, If he did this because he would rather see them happy, healthy, and safe elsewhere instead of malnourished, and in danger (possibly on the streets) with him, That I could understand.

But if he did it because he didn't WANT them anymore, Then he should be chastised and crucified.

Well it wasn't the states fault, or the taxpayers decision for this guy and his wife to squirt out more kids then they could afford or fail to use birth control, 70 years ago, the kids who were the oldest and most able would have dropped out of school and worked a blue collar job to support the family. This whole country is off on this terrible tangent of non self reliance and not taking personal responsibility for their actions. I'm sure the guy makes a minimal income, at some point he must have thought he has way more kids then he can take care of, probably around 4 or 5 but kept going. You can always count on the poor and stupid to repopulate the planet.
