This is liberal California, If this were red state SoCarolinaEuro, these results would be surprising, but not here. We have a long way to go battle wise before the election. If I had to call it now, despite what the polls say, I say McCain.

I like McCain a lot, but I wish Huckabee was still going.

;)

im thinking most of the people that have voted havent really investigated each candidate to see what they are really about....thats as far as i go with talking politics, for the simple fact i dont like the results so far, lets just hope the rest of the country is more enlightened

The results are surprising because the demographics of this site are decidedly not representative of California as a whole, but rather Southern California, which is far more 50/50 with regards to political affiliation.

I'm interested to see where the Ron Paul votes would have gone if it wasn't an option.
Would they have gone to other, or would McCain have gotten a bump?

Go ahead, throw your vote away. Its going to be Ralph Nader syndrome all over again, where a person who stands NO chance at winning will cost the person most aligned with their ideals the election........

Its just like the South Park episode. It doesn't matter, you have to pick either the Giant Douche, or the Turd Sandwich.
