I was just wondering that last night. Word is that it's not gonna be at Buttonwillow anymore :O(

According to the Dubwars forum on Vortex, George said this:


I have a tentative date of June 5th... I still do not have final confirmation on the location as of yet.. I plan on pressing them for it by the end of the week.(


And there have been all kinds of rumors saying that it wont happen at all this year. Sounds to me that it's likely wont happen at Buttonwillow but might could happen elsewhere. Hopefully it will happen, id hate to see it end. if it dont, then there might be plans to make a racing only type event at Buttonwillow. Stay tuned.

dammit ....hopefully they can find a place willing to hold the venue...does it necessarily need to be at a road course....hell maybe they can work something in conjuction with the staff at racelegal here in sd....you've got an 1/8mile drag set up and then you can run an scca style parking lot road event ...plenty of room for a euro show as well

They just had it last weekend. It was called the Big SoCalEuro.com GTG. And before that recently there was Dubfest. How much sausagefest do you need?

If Dubwars doesnt happen then we will have a race with no show.
