mk4 gti clutch.....what aftermarket ones are you running

after reading up on a problem ive been having in my 1.8t gti-----im coming to the conclusion that the stock pressure plate is going bad------so i figure while i have the tranny apart, ill replace it----i daily drive my car, no racing or auto-x for me, but i occasionally take it on the b-roads.......what clutch combo should i get?

You can upgrade to a VR6 clutch as it is a bit more heavy duty or check out www.ecstuning.com. They have tons of clutch combos.

im totally stock when the engine is concerned (no intake/exhaust/or even a chip) would getting the ecs stage 1 kit be a bit much?.......i may chip the car later down the line----i dunno, cuz im totally content with the power i already have

Might just go with the VR6 clutch then. It is meant to handle a little more abuse than the stock 1.8t and shouldn't set you back a ton either.
