SAAB APC System ---ALL you wanted know

Ok here is a site that will give you all the information on the SAAB APC turb/Knock control system. This will not only describe the theory and design but will also show you how to spend $10 dollars at radio shack and turn your 1983-1992 SAAB APC system into a great high boost tubo controller. IF you run a SAAB C900 or a C9000 then you have an APC system that can be modified to support up to 1.8Bar boost pressure while still maintaining knock detection and saving your motor from detonation. These mods also apply to you Volvo guys that use the APC system in your olded 240's and 700 and 900 series turbo's. I have modded 2 APC's for my car and sustain 19PSI on nice cold days with no problem on 91octane gas. Well enough of the long windedness here and on to the site.

In Sweden almost every older Volvo that is tuned for performance runs a SAAB APC in it for the Turbo/knock control. It has been something that the prancig moose clubs around the world have recomended for a long time. I am sur in the older 242's and such it is easier to install than say a 900 series but I know it is totally doable.
