Alright I want to look into powder-coating my stock bbs rc's black and have the lip polished...

I live in southern orange county, and wanted to know where and around how much would this cost???

Thanks,
Jonathan

Roughly 50 to 75 per wheel to powdercoat. I got mine done at this place called el diablo powdercoating. the guy took longer than expected and the work was alright. I paid roughly 240 to get it done. He did unmount the tires for me though.

That's actually really convenient...
Anyone else...

Thanks Mana

50-75 sounds about right. Powdercoating is hard when you have to mask certain parts. It involves a heating process, therefore, there's a good chance the coating will penetrate through the mask. I found out the hard way. It wasn't too bad, didn't get a super fine line separating the lip from the center.

hey if you find a place, maybe let me know, I'm thinkin of either powdercoating or just painting the centers of my wheels I just picked up. Or if anything, ask em how much to strip and recoat centers of wheels. I'll take em apart for em. thanks

well i called the list of wheel repairing and the best price i got was from mag masters in santa ana. They were the only ones out of that particular list that does powdercoating and they had the most competetive pricing granted I bore out the holes at a machine shop and save money taking apart the 2pc wheels. I haven't called the powdercoating places yet, but I'm not sure if they do refinishing.
