also you wanna stay about half an inch within stock overall rotating size. This way you won't mess with things like the speedometer and abs.

we'll 235 vs 225 is very minor, probably only 1mph off at 60mph

225/40 will have better turn in response than 235/40, shorter sidewall... if that matters to you. I run 225/40-18's on my Golf, 225/40-16's on my Corrado.
