From what I know of the human body, animal attacks and death, it looked pretty real. And considering technology around 1975...

First- Have you ever seen a Large Cat take down an animal? Over half of its face and fur is covered in blood. In this vid, none of the cats have blood anywhere.

Second- As I mentioned before (this is classic 70's horror cinematography) as the attack is happening the camera man is panning back and forth across the car where the wife and two kids are sitting. It is then cut and edited to look choppy. Throw in the music and the narrator and you have a movie. (If you were witnessing a Lion eat a person, would you be filming at all, let-alone the wife and two kids in a car)?

I can't remember for sure, but I think that this is from "Faces of Death 1 or 2"
