Man I have to agree with you on that one! That wagon is so clean!! I love all the R's! I was drooling over a S60R on the weekend that was slammed on 18's and just absolutley amazing!!


I just talked to Powerchips this week and they were telling me they will have an aggressive ECU tune for the newer R's in the next 2 months that should net some high HP andtorque figures for them.

Why not deal with powerchips on the Volvo? Are there issues or are there just no real gains out of it?

They are doing part of the tuning on my SAAB. I know that most of their tuning has been low HP numbers and gains but on custom stuff I have seen some really good results from them.

Evolve and powerchips ;) IPD uses TME. There was a dyno day where they had a stock R, Evolve's red R (their chip+exhaust) and an R using just the ipd/TME chip.

Guess which one made considerably MORE power ;)

I'll give you a hint. They haven't called people threatening them with lawsuites ;)

Powerchips is just mad their first iterations of their chips lost power compared to stock. :p

(whoops, did I say that? Uh oh, here come the big bad lawyers...)

I know that on my car they were able to add 70HP over stock and keep the a/f ratios and no knock. So we will see how it goes in the end.
