Which of your friends' cars are you jealous of? Which ones make you feel better about your own car? :ha:

I was bored tonight, so on my CarDomain site I made a page for my friends' former/current rides (at least the ones I have pics of).
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/379105/2

Which of my friend's former cars do you think are the best?
-mk3 VR6 Jetta
-V6 B5.5 Passat
-Uncle's B5 1.8T Passat
-80's Blazer
-Civic EX [now drives Mazda 3 Sedan]
-mk2 GLI [now drives TT 1.8T quattro]

How about current cars?

-1990 Prelude [guy who had the GLX]
-1984 Corolla [same guy]
-2004 Jetta TDI [wrecked her 2.0 mk4 jetta]
-Triumph Spitfire racer
-1995 Cabrio
-old Volvo [wrecked the V6 Passat]

Probably useless to ask on this site, most people will probably be biased towards the VWs ;)
I rode in my friends' GLX and V6 Passat, those were both nice cars. My friend's GLI looked pretty sweet too.
And all my friends' current rides are pretty ghetto ... the TDI is a total lemon. I wouldn't mind having my friend's Corolla though, that's his new project ... definately has potential!

Not jealous so much as "If you had to pick one of these cars":
A Spitfire for sure, but only a late 60's one.

I've had several unsuccessful attempts to steal this one.
It has an amazing paint job, and a nice custom interior. And it accellerates like a MOFO uphill with the AC on in 6th gear.

SS ... "no replacement for displacement" eh?

I didn't mean this post to be just about my friends (especially since even the spoiled ones are still rather poor).

No doubt people on SoCalEuro here have super-rich pals, what do they drive?

P.S. the dude with the 'Lude just popped the motor this weekend, good thing he picked up the barely-running corolla :D

Oh, jeez. Does it say that on there? He's not the type to say something like that. I'll have to read it and tell him that there are several replacements for displacement. Like turbos, superchargers, NAAAWWWWWSSS and of course, stickers.

Oh no, it doesn't say that on there (that I saw) .. but that's the cliche quote of the Vortex Car Lounge.

I suppose there is some truth to it .. but no honor if you ask me ;)

I would go with these three, when they are in running condition.
