I'm going to be hiking out to the Kitchen Creek Falls this weekend for my re-entry into backpacking. Has anyone done this trail before? Any advice?

Was out that way last weekend (not kitchen creek, but nearby).

Pretty cold right now at times, you may want to consider layers b/c the climate is touch and go this time of year. If you plan on taking a dip ... you may want a wetsuit.

Oh shit, I didn't know it was that cold out there. I wanted to go swimming. :(


I may bump this back and just go to Cedar Falls...

Well, I'm a puss about cold water ... it was 65 out there last weekend.

meh. Just checked the weather and it's supposed to get down to 32 at night.
