... once this major part goes in.

Plucked the steering rack too and most of what's necessary to bolt everything up onto also.
Knowing me, though, I'd prolly end up buying another Volvo that "needs work" first to put this on.
The rest of the swap (like wipers) will be modded in. I'll keep the speedo on it, though, which maxes out at 200 ...
-- Kane ... too bad it's not mph. Then I'd have something to really aim for. :D

Hopefully I'll find the time before summer gets here. I'm prefering to do this on another car, though - the '86 245 is too much beater, and I'm sure that I can prolly duplicate this on the '74 144 without having to have RHD specifics parts.
So I'm supposing I'll have to find a 242 or 245 with a good body and engine, but bad interior and/or tranny(*) to do this to first.

* - have a spare parts that I want to put to use, so.

The wiper motor stays the same on both US and RHD cars.
All you'll need to do is take the plates that bolt onto the firewall and swap them (you'll need the RHD equivelents). Otherwise it'll be pretty straight forward with the parts you have. That is f-ing sweet!
Now, you'll have a hell of a time doing a RHD turbo... damn near impossible.

The motor stays the same, but they do sweep in the other direction ... though I'll most likely leave it the way it is. That might be getting a lot more complicated than I need it to be.
I will most likely go back tomorrow (preferably when raining, so it's 25% cheaper) for the brake lines and attempt the plate again. I hate it when there's that one bolt that doesn't want to come out. This time, I'm bringing a BF hammer! Worse comes to worse, I just have to drill/cut out the holes in a blank plate.

I figured that ... so since the rack is manual and I can ditch the PS pump, I guess I'm just going to have to make it blown! :D
-- Kane ... sooner or later, an Eaton M45 or M62 with electric clutch would come cheap, so.
