Ok so I want to remove the rear wiper on my GTI, however I am not sure what to use as for filling in the hole? I have heard of people using the rubber plugs from bike handle bars, but that really can't look all that good! Anyone have any better ideas so it will look like it should! here is a pic of what the hell I am talking about, but done right!
Thanks,
Chris

what you need to do is weld in a filler plate so it can be flush...then grind the welds down and do some filler work on the body...then ofcourse have it painted...if you have a welder and wanna do it your self, you are gona need to tack in the plate first but have to let it cool down after a couple of tacks so you dont warp the metal.

I don't think there's a way to fill holes in glass. In the picture you showed, it looks like there's a rubber plug, it doesn't look too bad.
The only other options are to find a Golf variant that doesn't have a rear wiper or pay to get the glass custom made ($$$$$$$$$).

On Vortex there was a guy selling the plug for the glass. Have you looked there?
I have the plastic plug in my MIII Golf and there are no signs of leaking. But my wiper hole is in the metal not the glass.

well if you dont want a plug the only thing you can do is go to a glass shop and have thm cut you a new one. but then again $$$$$$ is the decideing factor
