Ok as much as it pains me to do I need to sell my C900 to a good home. Here is the run down on it as it sits right now. I am asking $750 obo for it as it sits now. NO RUST and NO BODY DAMAGE.

246,000 Miles
Custom Exhaust
3Bar FPR
APC Modded to Redbox specs
Turbo Rebuilt 6K or so ago
Lowered 1.5"
15" Chromed SAAB stock rims
added Boost, Amp and Oil Pressure gauges
Cd Player
New set of 4x10 speakers for the rear (not installed yet)
Set of stock SPG springs for it
Second Distributor
Lots of spare dash and interior parts.
Tinted all the way around
New Slave Cylinder (clutch)
New Clutch friction disc
New Clutch release bearing

Ok now for whats wrong with it.
It has a broken hinge on the hood mount passengers side and the drivers is breaking also.

It is sitting with the clutch 1/2 installed in it due to a misshap while installing it. Need to pull the clutch out and reinstall and thats it to make it run again (clutch should be cutout and a new pressure plate purchased to in my opinion). Should be about 4 to 6 hours work and it is ready to go.

Could stand a paint job as well.
The car can be seen here and I can provide better pictures if needed. The car needs to be picked up locally if interested.

I am in Cypress in Orange County (about 3 miles from Knott's Berry farm). AS for getting it running that would depend on if you did the work yourself or not.

You doing it would run $100 and 4 to 6hours on a saturday. To have it towed to a shop and have them cut the stuck clutch out and install the new one would run $375 or so. It is really a simple job I just don't have the time for it right now. The car ran perfect before it burnt the clutch and I have alot of extra parts for it. Let me know and I can take more pics for you and send them out.

wow, hmm how hard is it to do the work yourself? the weather doesn't really allow me to, but what would i need? Id much rather do it myself than tow it to a shop. will it pass smog?

Thats the basic info on how to do it. It is already disassembled right now and just needs to have the clutch pulled out and a new one put in and then reassembled. It is actually an easy job for the most part and I have a manual I will throw in with the deal!

The clutch on a SAAB is different that any other car you will ever touch. The tranny does not come out to do the clutch and everything is done from topside no getting under the car or hard work. It was made to be able to be changed in less than 3 hours by a professional. It is actually very easy to do I just don't have time to go backand finish the job from the point where it went south. I can email pics of what I am talking about but seriously ... buy a new pressure plate or go crazy and just buy the clutch kit off ebay and get friction disc, pressure plate and release bearing for around $150. It really is a fun car and I will miss it very much but where I am moving I can't keep 4 cars so my C900 and my 68 Buick need to find new homes.

Here is a C900 Tranny..........it sits under the motor.

Ok look at the piece underneath with the rag on it and that is the tranny on a C900 mated to an engine.

interesting, I still don't see how it can be done from the top of the engine...

Looking at this pic, I would assume that the clutch is in the front of the enging, below the distributor.

That means the accessory belts are in the back! Those wacky Swedes.......

Godzilla ----- You are correct.. There is a plastic splash gaurd ontop of the tranny bell housing in front of the motor under the distributor and intercooler hoses. Pull that and it exposes the Clutch Slave cylinder, Input shaft and clutch pack. Pull the input shaft out and but it on the radiator and then unbolt the clutch pack and insert the spring retainer tool (RG-11 cable tv cable) into the pressure plate stands. Once that is done then you can unbolt the slave cylinder and pull the clutch pack and slave all together as one unit. Reassemble the 3 together and reverse the procedure and its in. My issue was that I slipped putting it in an the pressure plate fell off the flywheel dowel stands and the pressure of the clutch plate is so great I cant get it rotated to put it in place. Hence the reason for cutting the fingers off the pressure plate and removing the cutch pack again and then reinstalling everything fresh.

And yes Manny this is all accomplished from the top side / front of the car with the hood off.
